So, in no particular order:

Mom--currently out of town through to next weekend. Though I do have a dinner date with my Dad tomorrow night. He is cooking me steak. I never say no to steak. Unless I'm the one paying for it of course.

Things I know I own but cannot find: Immersible blender. Flannel night gowns. Light bulbs.

Okay. So due to paperwork issuement (they didn't tell me I needed a co-signer until yesterday night.) I may or may not be able to move in on Saturday. I'm not saying it's cancelled, but you might want to check in with me (or at least check my LJ) before you drive over. 

That said I am somewhat frazzled right now. How's you?

I filled out my application paperwork today, so I should know by Friday if my almost 30 years of life constitute the potential for good tenancy. I also spent about 10 minutes playing with the Super's baby, Ray. Which is about as much time as I enjoy spending around babies (but was enjoyable, none the less). 

*reaches out through the vast voids of internets* *taps Callie on the shoulder* I am tapping you in. Are you free the first weekend of August? Is your boyfriend? Cause my parents are not as young as they used to be and I? I have a couch. I am willing to reward with foods as has become traditional. Goal is to finish in time for D&D. (^_^)V

Is anyone up for some Thai food this weekend? I was thinking of trying out the Thai Orchard's new branch out on 25th.... If anyone is free this Friday-Sunday and interested in some lunch or dinner, please let me know. I hate to eat out by myself. ^_^

Okay, I think that Halloween plans go something as follows. I would get off work around five, five-thirty, depending on work volume, and then I'm gonna pick up the snacks and such, so say start at six, six-thirty, and people can feel free to show up as their schedule allows. ^_^ I figured, I've got ringu and ringu two, uzumaki, a couple of anthologies of urban legends and old ghost stories from Japan, and after that, I've got the _Korean_ horror movies, (Of which at least five are excellent, and a couple I'm not sure of because I haven't actually gotten around to watching them yet.) In addition, if video game is more the mood, I've got Fatal Frame 2 and 3 in Japanese (or English if we get sick of the Nihongo, I just figured since pretty much everyone attending is at least familiar with the language it would be a shame to waste the opportunity. *G*) My tentative headcount so far is Mel, Theresa, Kat, and later in the evening, Callie. You are all free to invite others as well, the more the merrier. I was thinking grabbing a sushi plate, some cheese/sausage/cracker to combine as desired, and of course, candy. ^_^ As it is _Halloween_ after all. If alcohol is desired, you are welcome to b.y.o.

There's an office party on Friday. On the surface of things we'll be bowling, but Dan says it's coo to just sit around and eat (And drink, apparently) and goof off. I don't know how late I'll stay though, since it's also daddy's birthday. 

I'm tired. And apathetic. I'm not entirely sure why. It's not like I don't socialize outside of work. I get together with Callie once or twice a week, and I got to hang with Mel and Theresa a couple weeks ago, and that was tre coo. I don't know. Tired and apathetic. I know I should exercise so I might actually someday, eventually lose some weight instead of hover around my current weight for the rest of forever (or until I start gaining weight -_-) so yeah. I don't know. I just can't get up the oomph to do anything. Seriously. I can't even watch an entire 1 hour episode of television without someone making me. (Thank you Callie, three more episodes left!) mweh. I can't even really care that I don't do anything.

In other news, there's a guy at work who really reminds me of a somewhat chubbier Thurston. I'm not sure if I like him or want to hit him with things. He was listening to me this afternoon while I was on the phone, and he couldn't hold still for five freaking seconds. I was kind of glad when he wandered off around four and never actually came back. I was okay with that. Really. If i'm not tied to him with a head-set cord for three hours, I might like him more and want to kill him less. We'll see.
